Project Manager
Period: Asap – 31/12/2026 with an option for extension
Location: Antwerpen (2 days per week onsite) & remote
Experience: Experience in the banking sector is a significant advantage.
Project Context:
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the project, which involves collaboration with an external assessor, IT Security, and I&O. The role includes collecting and delivering all necessary evidence to the assessor. If remediation actions are required, they must be implemented under a tight schedule. The focus is on leadership, communication, and coordination skills. Knowledge of SWIFT and IT security is essential to negotiate with the assessor and understand requests accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Define, lead, and implement large and transversal IT projects and programs to optimize and update organizational processes.
- Lead a DevOps squad responsible for a set of applications within well-defined domains within the bank.
- Manage SLAs and coordinate operational support related to applications under squad management.
- Develop project plans (release, timing, resources, etc.) to achieve project objectives and meet expectations.
- Identify and manage project risks.
- Coordinate projects with all stakeholders to develop an environment that meets requirements and strategy.
- Develop and manage the long-term vision regarding the evolution of the application landscape under squad management.
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed results, budget, and timeline.
- Foster cooperation between different parties at all hierarchy levels to realize projects constructively and participatively.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and software.
- Experience with Agile, waterfall, and lean methodologies.
