Senior Business Analyst 

Start Date: Immediate

End Date: End of the year, with possible extension

Location: Brussels

Key Responsibilities:

• Elicit, analyze, and document business needs and user requirements.
• Produce functional analyses, user stories, use cases, and other analysis deliverables.
• Translate business requirements into clear and detailed functional specifications.
• Act as the liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and propose optimized solutions.
• Collaborate with architects and development teams to validate functional designs.
• Define test scenarios, write test cases, and support validation activities.
• Support defect analysis and root cause investigations.
• Model and document business processes.
• Support knowledge transfer and transition-to-operations activities.
• Report risks, issues, and progress to project management.
• Facilitate workshops and alignment sessions with stakeholders.
• Contribute to backlog refinement and requirements analysis activities.

Required Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering and functional analysis.
• Proven experience in business process modeling and process improvement.
• Experience with test planning, test case creation, and validation activities.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
• Experience collaborating with development teams, architects, and third-party vendors.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in both English and French.

Desired Skills:

• Experience within operational domains.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture and process modeling methodologies.
• Experience with tools such as Confluence, Jira, Bizzdesign, or similar.
