For a client we are seeking an experienced IS Testing Manager to engage in a strategic and coordinating role within a complex IT environment.
Onsite presence is required for 2 days per week in Brussel.

Key Responsibilities
Test Strategy & Execution
- Define and implement the overall testing strategy for IS Operations projects.
- Design, maintain, and oversee test plans, test cases, and scenarios.
- Coordinate end-to-end test campaigns (functional testing, UAT, regression testing, etc.).
- Supervise test execution and ensure proper defect tracking and resolution.
Reporting & Quality Assurance
- Produce detailed test reports for each release (progress, coverage, quality, risks).
- Define and track quality KPIs and testing metrics.
- Provide clear and structured communication to stakeholders.
User & Business Support
- Support business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases.
- Train and promote testing best practices among stakeholders.
- Facilitate collaboration between IT teams, business teams, and external partners.
Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Define and implement a standardized testing governance framework.
- Promote and apply testing best practices and methodologies (ISTQB, Agile, DevOps).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and testing processes.
Industrialization & Automation
- Contribute to the implementation of industrialized testing frameworks.
- Identify opportunities to automate testing activities.
- Collaborate with technical teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Profile & Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in software testing, including significant experience as a Test Manager.
- Experience in IS Operations or IT production environments is strongly preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies (ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus).
- Good understanding of software development lifecycles (Agile, Scrum, DevOps).
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, ALM, Jira/Xray, etc.).
- Knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with complex IT environments (ERP systems, integrations, middleware, etc.).
