We are looking for a hybrid consultant who will combine two closely linked but distinct roles:
Strategy Manager (50%): focused on shaping corporate strategy and driving strategic initiatives
Strategic Investment Manager (50%): focused on evaluating and supporting investment and M&A opportunities from a strategic perspective
Both aspects are strongly connected: the investment work directly feeds into the overall corporate strategy and vice versa. The role requires someone who can move seamlessly between high-level strategic thinking and applying that thinking to concrete investment decisions.
A. Strategy Manager (50%) – Business & Corporate Strategy In this part of the role, the focus is on defining and shaping the strategic direction of the business:
Lead strategic projects end-to-end, from scoping through analysis to execution
Conduct market and competitive analysis to support strategic decision-making
Develop business cases and strategic recommendations for leadership
Work closely with senior stakeholders to co-create and steer strategic initiatives
Support performance analysis and identify improvement opportunities
Present insights and conclusions clearly to decision-makers
→ This part of the role is focused on broad corporate strategy, long-term direction, and transformation initiatives.
Strategic Investment Manager (50%) – Strategy-driven M&A & Investments In this part of the role, the focus shifts towards supporting investment and M&A activities — but from a strategic, not purely financial, perspective:
Analyze markets and industries to assess where investment opportunities may lie
Evaluate potential acquisition targets based on strategic fit, positioning, and growth potential
Assess synergies and how target companies align with the broader company strategy
Contribute to valuation and investment cases, combining financial inputs with strategic reasoning
Support due diligence processes, with strong focus on business and strategic impact
Coordinate internally with stakeholders to align on investment decisions and priorities
Support preparation of investment recommendations for senior management and executive committees
→ This part of the role is focused on applying strategic thinking to real investment decisions, rather than pure deal execution.
