Capital Professionals is working with a growing logistics and transportation company that is adding to its sales and operations team. They are hiring for Logistics Sales / Account Managers to join their team.
This is a good opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in logistics. Experience in freight brokerage, 3PL, supply chain, transportation, or trucking can be helpful, but it is not required. We are more focused on finding someone who is dependable, communicates well, wants to learn, and can keep up in a fast-moving environment.
What You’ll Be Doing In this role, you will work with customers, carriers, and internal team members to help move freight and grow business. Day to day, this may include:
Building relationships with shippers, customers, and carrier partners
Learning customer shipping needs and helping provide freight solutions
Quoting freight, booking shipments, and coordinating pickups and deliveries
Tracking shipments and communicating updates when needed
Solving issues as they come up and keeping things moving
Keeping notes, customer information, and activity updated in the system
Developing new business and growing existing customer relationships
What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who is motivated, dependable, and wants the opportunity to grow. The right person does not have to know everything about logistics on day one, but they do need to be willing to learn and put in the work. A good fit would likely have:
Strong communication and follow-up skills
Customer service, sales, logistics, supply chain, transportation, or operations experience
The ability to think quickly and handle problems without getting overwhelmed
A competitive mindset and interest in building a book of business
Good organization and attention to detail
Confidence speaking with customers and carriers
A team-first attitude and willingness to learn
