Capital Professionals is assisting our Dallas, TX based 3PL Freight Brokerage firm in search of a skilled and experienced Credit and Collections Coordinator to join their team. As a Credit and Collections Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's entire credit granting process, including the consistent application of credit policy, credit reviews of existing customers and assessment of creditworthiness of potential customers with the goal of optimizing the mix of company sales and bad debt losses.

Essential Functions:
Maintain the corporate credit policy.
Recommend changes in credit policy to senior management.
Create a credit scoring model.
Manage customer credit files.
Monitor the credit granting and updating process.
Accept or reject the team’s credit requests and provide appropriate feedback.
Investigate large customer credit applications.
Oversee periodic credit reviews.
Administer the establishing or decrease of customer credit and communicate to necessary parties.
Required skills:
3-5 years of credit and collections experience.
Bachelor’s degree in business and experience with credit scoring systems.
Thorough knowledge of credit-related laws.
Experience in the Transportation/Logistics Industry preferred
