Project Overview – PTSS C5ISR Hardware & Software Program
The Lockwood Group supports a C5ISR hardware and software program for a U.S. Army customer located at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD. This effort provides engineering, integration, and lifecycle support for mission-critical command, control, communications, computers, cyber, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems.
The program supports the development, modernization, and sustainment of tactical network and mission systems to ensure operational effectiveness and technological advantage.
Responsibilities
- Interacting with system users to translate their requirements into systems, hardware, and software requirements and design.
- Solves complex problems including determining the location and density of circuitry, evaluating electromagnetic radiation, isolating malfunctions, and incorporating engineering changes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science and 10+ years of relevant experience including 5+ years in the Department of Defense contracting market of major weapon systems product development and acquisitions.
- Experience using mathematical models to analyze electrical circuits, power distribution, and system efficiency.
- Experience identifying and resolving problems within electrical systems during design, testing, or installation phases.
- Understanding of the interrelationships of circuits
- Experience making circuit analyses, calculating wave forms, and tracing relationships in signal flow, using complex test instruments
