Key Responsibilities

Design and implement secure boot protocols and trusted execution logic for diverse hardware platforms.
Build interfaces for dedicated security hardware and cryptographic co-processors.
Refine low-level system software to meet the highest standards of reliability and security.
Perform rigorous vulnerability analysis on firmware and low-level hardware-software interfaces.
Manage the technical roadmap for hardware-specific security features and integrations.
Produce high-quality technical documentation for internal teams and strategic partners.
Represent the firm at industry events to discuss the latest trends in hardware-based security.

Core Qualifications

Advanced degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
7+ years of experience in firmware development with a focus on security.
Expert-level C programming skills for bare-metal and RTOS environments.
Experience with Secure Boot, TEE, or HSM (Hardware Security Modules).
Deep understanding of hardware-software interfaces and low-level system architecture.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to own complex technical projects.
Comfortable working in a remote, self-motivated team environment.
Excellent technical writing skills for complex system documentation.

Expertise in developing trusted boot sequences and isolated execution environments.
Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with reliability certifications for high-consequence industries.
