Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial concepts and demonstrate proficiency in financial statement preparation, general ledger accounting, and cash flow analysis. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
- Perform journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Conduct cash flow analysis to support budgeting and forecasting efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and monitor variances against actual performance.
- Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Utilize PeopleSoft for financial management tasks, including reporting and data analysis.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on financial management.
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts, budgeting, and cash flow analysis.
- Proficiency in PeopleSoft or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing financial statements and managing general ledger accounting.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $77,419.00 - $130,000.00 per year
