About our client:
A collaborative, forward-thinking building engineering firm focused on delivering quality mechanical design solutions across a variety of sectors—from commercial to institutional and everything in between. They are growing and looking to bring on a Mechanical Designer/EIT who’s passionate about HVAC, plumbing, and building systems, and eager to contribute to exciting projects in Calgary and beyond.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems for buildings, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
- Prepare detailed Revit and AutoCAD drawings and layouts.
- Perform calculations, equipment selections, and load analysis under the supervision of senior engineers.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, and other disciplines to ensure project success.
- Participate in site reviews and fieldwork as required.
- Support project delivery through all phases—from schematic design to construction administration.
What You Bring:
- 2–4+ years of relevant experience in mechanical design for buildings.
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering and EIT status in Alberta.
- Proficiency in Revit is required; familiarity with AutoCAD and HAP
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset.
- Experience in consulting engineering or construction environments is a plus.
