About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated 5th Grade Math Teacher to join our team in a Public Charter School. This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about helping students build a strong foundation in mathematics while creating an engaging, supportive classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

• Teach 5th grade math concepts in alignment with state standards and curriculum requirements.

• Develop lesson plans that encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration.

• Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback.

• Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning needs and abilities.

• Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom culture.

• Collaborate with fellow teachers, staff, and parents to ensure student success.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field preferred.

• Valid Michigan teaching certificate or willingness to obtain while employed.

• Previous teaching experience at the elementary or middle school level preferred.

• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.

• Passion for fostering a lifelong love of learning in students.
