Job Title: Maintenance Technician – 3rd Shift (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: Bluffton, IN (On-site)
Pay Rate: $36.50/hr
Shift: 3rd Shift
Schedule: 40 hours/week + OT expected

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a contract-to-hire opportunity with a manufacturing facility in Bluffton, Indiana. This role plays a critical part in keeping production running smoothly through troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance of CNC machines, robotics, and various mechanical and electrical systems.

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
Troubleshoot and maintain:
CNC Machines
Robotics
Electrical Equipment (high and low voltage)
Pneumatic & Hydraulic Systems
Perform preventative/predictive maintenance
Work from detailed work orders and document all repairs
Use testing equipment (volt/ohm meters, etc.) to gauge performance
Rebuild and reassemble machinery and production equipment
Collaborate with production, facilities, materials, and engineering teams
Education: Associate’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Experience: Minimum 3 years performing maintenance on:
CNC Machines
Hydraulic & Pneumatic Equipment
Industrial Robotics
High and Low Voltage Electrical Systems
Technical Skills:
Solid understanding of ladder logic/controls
Ability to troubleshoot and repair 480V 3-phase and low-voltage AC/DC systems
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment
Lift/carry up to 50 lbs regularly; push/pull up to 100 lbs occasionally
Frequent standing, walking, gripping, reaching, and bending
Must be able to work around chemicals with proper PPE
Visual and mental attention to detail is critical
Will work in, around, and beneath heavy machinery
Note: This is a performance-based contract-to-hire role. A shift differential is already included in the pay rate.
