Job Position: REACH Coordinator / Behavior Support – 31a Funded
Grades Served: K–5, 6–8, 9–12
Job Type: Full-time (in office)
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 40 per week
Primary Responsibilities:
Promote REACH Values and support positive student behaviors through PBIS, small groups, one-on-one sessions, and check-in/check-out.
Duties:
Work with the Dean and Social Worker to address the root causes of behavior issues and develop long-term solutions.
When not providing services to targeted students, push into classrooms to model REACH values.
Progress monitor identified students every 2–3 weeks using specific strategies.
Complete all state-required documentation for Time & Effort and MTSS, including log entries.
Attend monthly MTSS meetings.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress.
Attend scheduled parent meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned that fall within the scope of 31a funding.
Caseload:
Includes students currently receiving reduced services.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (or in progress), preferably in education, behavior, or social work.
Previous experience in a school setting.
Strong skills in conflict resolution, communication, and building interpersonal relationships.
Ability to perform effectively in high-stress situations.
Willingness to complete assigned professional development.
