1. Coach, mentor, and train less experienced design engineers as needed.
2. Review specifications and contract drawings for assigned projects.
3. Provide accurate drawings for HVAC control systems and Protective systems and schematics using AutoCAD.
4. Size control valves, dampers, air flow stations, and the like for HVAC systems.
5. Write and understand the sequence of operations for HVAC control systems.
6. Conduct voltage calculations for Fire Alarm systems.
7. Understand system operations for Protective systems.
8. Assemble submittals and O&Ms for projects. 

Qualifications:
1.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering Technology (preferred) 
2. 7+ years of related experience required.
3. At least 5+ years’ experience using AutoCAD preferred.
4. Experience coaching, mentoring and training other team members preferred.
5. Technical background in electrical circuits, HVAC and controls required.
6. Understanding of advanced hydronic and duct work systems preferred.
7. Advanced computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office software required. 8. Must be able to thrive in a fast pace setting and adapt/be flexible in a changing environment.
9. Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.
