Job Description - Dialysis Travel LPN
Assesses patient response to dialysis therapy.
Makes appropriate adjustments and modifications to treatment plans as indicated/directed by supervisors or prescribed by the physician.
Assessment of patient pre, interim, and post dialysis and documentation of findings.
Administers medications as ordered to assigned patients.
Assesses educational needs of patient and educating the patient and family regarding end stage renal disease, dialysis therapy, diet and medications.
Flexibility to travel to the assignment location.
Availability to work the facility’s required schedule.
Willingness to complete onboarding items in a timely manner.
Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and strive for the highest quality of patient care.
Also referred to as: Renal care licensed practical nurse, dialysis licensed vocational nurse, LVN.
Job Requirements
1+ year of recent experience as a dialysis nurse
Graduate from an accredited nursing school
Current state specific nursing license in good standing, or if applicable, a compact state RN license in good standing
BLS certification required (Chronic and Acute settings)
