Class A CDL Operator

Tulsa, OK

Our Client, Ambipar Response is seeking a safety-focused CDL Driver to support environmental response, waste transportation, and emergency management operations throughout the United States and Canada.

This position involves operating vacuum trucks, vacuum tankers, roll-off trucks, and other commercial vehicles in support of emergency response, environmental remediation, and industrial services projects. Candidates should be comfortable traveling, working in dynamic environments, and supporting emergency response operations when needed

Location: Tulsa, OK
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM when not deployed
Travel: Up to 40% annually
Employment Type: Full-Time | Non-Exempt

 

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record

  • Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements

  • Ability to operate a manual transmission tanker truck

  • U.S. Citizen eligible to pass a federal background investigation

  • Valid U.S. Passport or Passport Card for land travel into Canada

  • Willingness to travel up to 40% annually

  • Ability to pass DOT and Hazmat physical requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED

    Note: Candidates actively pursuing their Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements will be considered; however, employment cannot begin until all required endorsements have been obtained.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of CDL driving experience

  • Experience operating vacuum trucks, vacuum tankers, and/or roll-off trucks

  • Experience transporting hazardous materials

  • Emergency response, industrial services, environmental services, or related industry experience

  • Bilingual skills are a plus


Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.

  • Transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials safely and efficiently.

  • Operate and maintain vacuum trucks, tankers, and roll-off equipment.

  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance concerns.

  • Complete required transportation documentation and electronic logs.

  • Support environmental response, remediation, and emergency response projects.

  • Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment and materials.

  • Follow all safety, environmental, and operational procedures.

  • Assist field crews and response teams as needed.

  • Represent Ambipar professionally at client sites and project locations.


    Additional Information

  • Employees are required to complete all Ambipar training programs upon hire, including CPR certification.

  • When not traveling, employees will report to the Tulsa, OK office Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

  • Overtime, weekend work, holiday work, and emergency deployments may be required based on operational needs.

  • Work may be performed outdoors in varying weather conditions and around hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
