What You'll Do
As a Senior Move Assistant, you'll work directly with older adults and their families before, during, and after a move.
You may:
- Help clients sort, organize, and pack their belongings
- Work alongside families during the moving process
- Unpack and fully set up a new apartment or residence
- Make beds, organize kitchens, arrange furniture, and hang photos
- Create a warm, welcoming environment that feels like home from day one
- Provide a calm, reassuring presence during what can be an emotional day
- Coordinate with team members to ensure every detail is handled with care
The ideal candidate is:
- Compassionate and patient
- Friendly and easy to talk to
- Organized and dependable
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Respectful of older adults and their life experiences
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying boxes throughout the day
- Someone who enjoys helping others during important moments in life

We understand that life is busy.
- Approximately 20-25 hours per week
- Monday through Friday daytime hours
- No nights or weekends
- Hours vary based on client projects
- We work around your availability whenever possible
- Starting at $18.00 per hour
- Opportunity for additional responsibility and advancement over time
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Smartphone for communication and scheduling
- Ability to lift and carry boxes and household items
- Ability to remain active throughout a shift
- Background check required
