Position Description: The Maintenance Specialist job is to help the company meet customer requirements by ensuring that all the machinery, support equipment and facilities are maintained in good working order to meet the demands of our production needs. Work with all supervisors and other co-workers in a respectful manner to repair necessary equipment to accomplish production goals.

Compensation: up to $35/hr depending on experience

Position Description: The Maintenance Specialist job is to help the company meet customer requirements by ensuring that all the machinery, support equipment and facilities are maintained in good working order to meet the demands of our production needs. Work with all supervisors and other co-workers in a respectful manner to repair necessary equipment to accomplish production goals.
MUST HAVE's:
- Ability to proficiently troubleshoot our machines (Makino, Doosan, Mazak, both horizontal and vertical machines) and make the repairs necessary.
- Excellent knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and the ability to troubleshoot each system.
- Analyzes mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and plans for and takes corrective action. Makes necessary corrections and adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality. Notifies supervisors of equipment status as necessary.
- Maintain buildings to include the repair of windows, doors, roof, construct / repair shop bins, racks, pallets and shipping crates; shovel snow; cut grass; oil and lubricate machines and equipment.
- Repair and adjust small machines, e.g. drill presses, custom presses, Lifting and grinding equipment, bench power and hand tools.
- Performs preventive maintenance and inspection of all equipment, reports findings to supervisor and takes appropriate action.
- Build / Repair and assemble necessary plant equipment, work platforms and fixtures.
- Maintain and Install electrical equipment and machines when necessary.
- Monitor Coolant condition in all our machines and recommend corrective action to operators.
- Change Oil & filters and coolant in all equipment as described in equipment manuals.
- Ability to use hand tools and trades type tools to accomplish tasks in a safe productive manner.
Compensation: up to $35/hr depending on experience
